Just out of curiosity, what development tool did you use to develop OmniAudit and OmniView? Visual C++ 6.0? Delphi?

Rob I'm not quite sure I understand what you are asking. There is a fully functional, 30-day free trial version which they can download. Is there something more you are looking for?

Alex: As I mentioned, prices were influenced by competitor*s*. Plural. Other competitors were in the more reasonable "under $500" range. The one mentioned was the statistical outlier who in my opinion was raping his customers given the functionality he provided. I don't want to run a business based on "how much can I squeeze out of people who don't know any better?" It's interesting to note that the competitor first cut his prices--he obviously couldn't continue to sell at his original prices. And as far as I can tell now the product has disappeared from the market altogether.

Why did you decide to undercut the competitor's price by so much? You are essentially eroding profit margins in your own market.
