Kyle, you’re right, his sales might have been zero. But I’d hardly call 6 sales a success. If he sold 46 copies, then I’d be more inclined to say it was unfair.

I believe that Eric Sink actually missed an important issue on his items 1 and 2… specifically, my guess is that if he were not well known (with his MSDN column, etc.), his sales so far would have most likely been 0, rather than a small handful of sales. In a sense, he’s already well ahead of the game, so to speak.
